Nati Celebrity Services wants to set the records straight on DMX story

Apparently there is a lot of confusion about DMX and a Reality show. He announced he was engaged or did he get engaged? Well here is the other side of the story, check it.

Nati Celebrity Services is a Public Relations firm and Talent representation agency in Northern California. I spoke with Yadira Borrego in May of 2011, she informed me that that she was DMX's fiance and mother of his 2 children. I was also informed that he has no exclusive representation and that he was interested in making a comeback after his July prison release. I noticed that X hasn't been in the news about new music in 2 years and I guaranteed Yadira that we can change that, and as you can see, we did. I drafted a press release that I emailed to her for approval. She assured me that she has the authority to speak on DMX's behalf and approved of the release. I mailed a letter to X in jail introducing myself. A week later Yadira said X called her and said he received the letter and said. "He seems like a nice guy" referring to me.

I emailed the prison and asked if I could speak to him but they said that by the time I get approved he would probably be out. So I put the release on www.naticelebs.com and I sent the release to VIBE and I called the prison that X was at and linked VIBE with their media relations department. Since I was told that Yadira has authorization for her and DMX I also contacted BET (Black Entertainment Television) about their interest in their own reality show. One of our contacts at BET sent us a standard submission form to submit a treatment that I created. At this point I asked Yadira for the fourth time, if X has a manger, she said no, so I said that we would have to be his contracted, exclusive manager to submit this treatment. So I sent X our contract for this position, expecting that he'll sign it and mail it back.

So now I got news crews that are lined up to film his release from jail, I got magazines from the US to London that are contacting me for interviews, and I got BET waiting for a submission for them to produce his reality show, and then I read the article on vibe.com that X says Yadira is no longer his fiance and that he's single!!! What??

Now I'm on the phone with a woman who says she's been his manager for the last 2 years. I'm also hearing that this letter from Rick Ross is a fake! Earlier today I was on the phone with Allan Zamran's secretary. Allan is Rick Ross' secretary and she said that Allan will be calling me later today.

The bottom line is, "we've been lied to". Either this manager is lying and she doesn't really represent X, or Yadira's lying and their broke up. We have a spotless reputation in sports and entertainment and now we're being accused of writing a press release that is "false" and "untrue".

"We are very interested in representing DMX after his prison release next month. We've already proven that we have the knowledge and contacts to get his name back out there. However, if he truly does have exclusive representation, we would never overstep those boundaries."

I'm all of a sudden very interested in seeing what happens when DMX comes out of jail.

Shawty Lo speaks on 360 deals and signing with 50 cent

As we previously reported 50 Cent has unveiled details about his new 50/50 deal for artists that Shawty Lo became the first to sign.

The Atlanta rapper spoke with MTV yesterday and further explained why 50's offer was more appealing to him than the 360 deals major labels are now offering.

"I'm just not a believer in a 360 deal. I feel like I can make my own money before I let a label come in a give me a 360 deal," Shawty said. "You don't have to give me a whole lot of upfront money to do a 360. I don't need that."

The unpopular 360 deal allows labels to get a piece of not only record sales, but touring and merchandising as well.

The 50/50 deal covers all overhead costs. Once Fif recoups promo and recording costs, Shawty splits all income from records 50/50 and doesn't have to share touring or merchandising.

Shawty added that he just felt more comfortable dealing with someone who came up from the streets like he did and made something out of nothing.

"I just felt like 50 would be the best situation for me, man, because my life story came from where my life story came from: turning a negative into a positive," he explained. "It feels like it's familiar with 50's life. That's why I ran with him. Another label could've offered me five times what 50 offered me. I just feel like 50 was the perfect opportunity for me. My vision for the label is straight to the top. I'm working very hard to get my label to where I need to be. To be a big label in the South, all I needed was somebody behind me who could believe in me, who could relate to what I done been through, and I think 50 is the person to do it."

Lil Wayne says he could be ready to give up the mic in XXL

After twelve albums (eight solo, three with the Hot Boys and one with Birdman) Lil Wayne is starting to think about hanging up the mic.

In a new interview with XXL the 28-year old hinted that his career might fade to black after his ninth solo album, 'Tha Carter IV' drops in August.

Of course we've seen this before act before. Jay-Z famously retired in 2003 only to return to the game three years later.

The big difference between the two is the fact that Jay doesn't have any kids while Wayne has four. With such a hectic schedule recording and touring, Weezy doesn't get to spend the time with his family that he would like to.

“I’m bowing out still on top,” Wayne told XXL. “I’ma make y’all want me when I retire. I’ma make y’all be like, ‘Nooo!’ I ain’t leaving out this b*tch when y’all be like, ‘Yeah, it’s about time, dawg.’ Carter IV might be my last one. I’ma make y’all be like, ‘F*ck!’ Yeah, n*gga, I’m gone. I honestly think it’s unfair to my kids. I’m super dedicated into what I do. Like, it’s no questions—it’s hands down, I do this. I live this. I don’t have a day out my week that I do something else. I do this every day of my life, and I’m not about to stop, ’cause that’s the only way you can succeed in this business, is to do it the way I do it. I want to succeed the way I want to succeed. You can succeed. You can put out a hit… But to do it the way I want to do it, to be comfortable to do what the f*** I want to do, you’ve got to work like no other. Like I said, it’s unfair to my kids. So about 30, 31, 32, I gotta get ready."

The Young Money CEO doesn't think he'll be hurting for cash. He plans on kicking his feet up and caking off a of potent roster of artists, Drake and Nicki Minaj in particular.

“I expect to eat, and eat well," he said "I expect [Drake] to be a lot more successful than he has ever been. I mean, this guy’s a superstar. He is the definition. That’s what I told y’all before he was: ‘That’s the definition of a superstar.’ And like Nicki, he’s only breaking ice. He has yet to be who he’s going to be. I’m banking on them.”

To read the full interview pick up the July/August 2011 issue when it hits newsstands July 12.

D-Dot says he put Kanye West on and he has no respect

Hit maker Derick D-Dot Angelettie, aka The Madd Rapper, tells XXL that Yeezy isn't loyal. He says that he put Ye on, introduced Ye to everybody, but gets no credit.

He makes reference to Kanye's VH1 Behind the Music special, citing "Even in his [VH1] Behind the Music he goes from workin' with No I.D. in Chicago to Jay-Z. What happened to the years when you was doing Foxy, Nas, Madd Rapper, Biggie, Puff and Shyne? When your moms was comin' up here and we was lookin' for apartments, all that's missing. He went straight from No I.D. to Jay-Z"

D-Dot also goes on to say "No I.D. didn't put you on. I put him on. Even Pete Rock. He did a f*ckin' [Peter] Rosenberg interview. 'How'd you meet Kanye? I met Kanye through D. Dot. Busta, how'd you meet Kanye? I met him through D.Dot.' Raekwon all these people met Kanye through me. Jay-Z met Kanye through me. Hip-Hop and all them met Kanye because of D. Dot. Mr. Angelettie isn't feeling very appreciated "I always knew he was gonna be genius. That's why I hooked up with him, but as far as his respect factor, as far his loyalty factor, he sucks."

"That's the only disrespectful part. He's definitely dope, definitely a good student. [He] made hip-hop and music history. I respect him."

50 cent self destructs on twitter

G-Unit leader 50 Cent has had enough with Interscope Records and publicly called the renowned company out over his delayed follow-up to 2009's Before I Self Destruct.

Comparing his situation to Dr. Dre's long-delayed Detox album, 50 lashed out his issues across Twitter.

"Ok I tried to be cool with my record company . I went to the meeting talk to everyone and sh*t feels like there moving in slow motion," he tweeted June 16th.
"I'm sorry to announce I will not be releasing a new album this year if we don't get on the same page."
"I would rather not launch my album with out a plan the whole system is executing. I don't know why they play with me they know how I get."

"My whole career iv been doing sh*t and they have been playing catch up this is the last f*cking album THEY BETTER WAKE UP AND WORK" (50 Cent's Twitter)

Earlier this week, 50's manager Chris Lighty said the project would drop this fall.

According to Chris Lighty, 50's almost finished with his fifth album, which is "sounding great." "We're rolling out the marketing partners and everything now," Chris Lighty told AllHipHop.com. "Once we put the stake in the ground on a date, we're gonna try and stick to it so we can use our marketing dollars around that date." According to Chris Lighty, 50 Cent's album Black Magic will hit stores this Fall. (All Hip Hop)
